The California Bears Mission Statement

The California Golden Bears youth hockey club is a nonprofit organization based in Burbank, CA. It is one of the oldest Southern California youth hockey clubs, chartered by the State of California in 1964. California Golden Bears, or CGB, is a member of USA Hockey, SCAHA, and CAHA.

For years we have been a family-oriented organization, and we believe in promoting sportsmanship and good citizenship in the community while assisting players in the advancement of their hockey education, physical training, development of team play and individual skills to become competitive hockey players.

Since 1964, the CGB teams have won numerous league, state and regional titles, and tournament championships. We are very proud of the California Golden Bears teams and players, both past and present, and those who have gone on to play at higher levels.
