On Monday March 25th, Josh Halliday was selected in the 2nd round of the WHL Bantam draft by the Moose Jaw Warriors. During his paying career with the Bears, Josh was a leader on the 12UAA State Championship team. During his Bantam minor year he was also a leader on the 14U AA State Championship team that was ranked #3 nationally and participated in the USA National Tournament. This current season saw Josh being a leader and major contributor for the #3 Nationally Ranked 14U AA that was ready to participate in States before the season was cut short due to current events.

Coach Peter Torsson had this to say about Josh: "Josh has a shot I have never seen in a 14 year old player ever before. His game is very consistent and impressive both athletically and cognitively. Best part about Josh is that he constantly enjoys the game. You can see that he loves everything about it. Whether it's training in the gym or skating a big game, he is always having fun competing. "

Congratulations, keep competing and having fun!
